VP, Regulatory and Medication Safety

Nancy J. Globus, PharmD, brings incredible depth to our already industry leading regulatory knowledge and expertise. With over 20 years of industry experience she has reviewed thousands of names for submission to FDA, European Medicines Agency, and Health Canada. She is proficient in all areas of medication safety, especially as error prevention applies to assisting the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in trademark safety testing, package label assessments and other risk management and regulatory issues.

She formerly served as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs where she focused on helping the industry build error prevention into products by evaluating proposed names and labels prior to regulatory approval.

Nancy began “counting pills” at her father’s side and eventually earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Rutgers College of Pharmacy. Nancy continued her education earning her PharmD from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (now University of the Sciences).

She joined the Med-ERRS subsidiary of ISMP (the Institute for Safe Medication Practices) in 2001. There she became proficient in all areas of medication safety, especially as error prevention applies to assisting the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in trademark safety testing, package label assessments and other risk management and regulatory issues.

Nancy has great impact across our creative, validation, and submission work. Participating and improving our discipline in each of these phases. She is a new value proposition for our marketing and promotional activities. From capabilities to pitches to relationship building to thought leadership, all elements of our brand experience will be enhanced.

    From Cher’s speech when she won the Best Actress Academy Award, “…And I don’t think that this means that I am somebody, but I guess I’m on my way.”

  • How do you unwind?

    Doing my nails, of course! I love experimenting with color and comparing subtle differences between different shades.

  • What is the personal accomplishment you’re most proud of?

    DIY home improvement projects. Sweat equity is the best!
