Account Services & Business Development Associate – London

This dual role works closely with an experienced global account team to develop business with accounts in an assigned territory, as well as support the project life cycle and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven success in a business development role and will be experienced in building a book of business with a mix of new and existing accounts. Previous roles in brand/product management, sales and business development for a healthcare communications agency would be a plus.

This dual role works closely with an experienced global account team to develop business with accounts in an assigned territory, as well as support the project lifecycle and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Self-development and education as a business development professional in the branding industry
  • Identify and build key contacts across assigned accounts in Europe
  • Identify potential new business opportunities
  • Generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach with prospective client contacts.
  • Maintain internal databases with all current prospect and client information, continuously updating and improving our client base
  • Manage prospect communications, interactions and relationships
  • Clear and prompt internal communication of status, potential RFP pipeline, and prospect needs

Client Services:

  • Prepare external proposals, presentations, and RFP responses as well as PowerPoint deck templates for internal teams
  • Create and maintain project schedules – plan, monitor, appraise, and review project progress and group contributions
  • Drive project timelines by communicating internal and external job expectations
  • Support best practices workflow by enforcing policies and procedures
  • Assist with managing client communications
  • Clear and prompt internal communication of project status, all deadlines, and project deliverables
  • Develop and proof deliverables
  • Track budget/hours for ongoing project activities

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience within a strategic selling role with a proven track record of success
  • Strong knowledge of general healthcare marketing and sales, brand management and/or consumer marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines/clients simultaneously
  • Self-starter, able to work independently
  • Native English speaker, or business English fluent speaker (additional language skills are a plus)
  • Motivation to learn and further grow a world leading branding agency

Travel: up to 25%

On-Boarding: Training in US-HQ and European locations, candidate needs to be available for spending max. 2-3 weeks travelling during the first 3 months.
