  • Get to know Tony

    What is your favorite brand?

Starbucks. I think like most brands, it just resonates. Starbucks, perhaps because of the length of time it’s been around, is for me, synonymous with coffee shop. You always know what you will get, and the atmosphere you will find yourself in. It’s comforting.

  • What is your favorite quote?

“Do not fear to hope.” It’s the title and in the lyrics of a song I heard years ago that has stayed with me and springs to the fore of my mind, and sustained me in all kinds of situations.

  • How do you unwind?

Sipping a glass of a good cabernet while relaxing and talking with my husband who is a novelist and playwright, whether at a restaurant or poolside on our patio, always does the trick. In addition, I like to get my hands dirty, whether that’s in the garden creating a tropical landscape and tending my growing orchid collection, or cooking and baking and testing new recipes in the kitchen for dinner guests.

  • What is the personal accomplishment you’re most proud of?

I’m proud of the people that my kids have grown to be, and I’m proud of the home that my husband Jack and I have created. A warm, hospitable, inviting place for friends and family to feel at home themselves. And I’m proud of the fact that I’m still growing personally and professionally, stretching myself at the gym, in relationships and at work.
