Transamerica Reinsurance crosses continents to provide life and annuity reinsurance to more than 500 life insurance and financial services companies in Asia, Latin America, North America, and most recently, Europe. Transamerica Reinsurance keeps tabs on mortality trends, provides risk and capital management insight, and offers underwriting services.
The Task
Transamerica Reinsurance approached Addison Whitney, concerned that it was losing market share due to a lack of market positioning through inconsistent messages communicated to the target audience. The company wanted to create an overall brand message that was credible and compelling, but flexible enough to be sustainable. Transamerica Reinsurance expressed a need to bridge the gap that exists between its customer’s expectations and their actual experience when working with the organization.
