The Company
Propex is the world’s largest producer of geosynthetic, concrete, furnishing and industrial fabrics and fiber. The company creates and produces some of the well known brands in this industry that include: Pyramat, Actionbac, Fibermesh, Duon and CURV.
The Task
In the process of being divested by owners; BP and Amoco Fabrics and Fibers Company (AFFC), Addison Whitney was approached to develop a new corporate identity. The project deliverables included logo, stationery system and a standards manual.

Verbal Branding
Propex Fabrics as its new corporate name developed by Addison Whitney
brand consultants . The brand and all associated assets were sold during the
rebranding process.
Visual Branding
The Propex Fabrics logo features an abstract representation of woven fabric integrated in the letter "O" to illustrate a connection to the fabrics industry. A bold red and black color palette was selected in order to communicate strength and quality products, as well as stand out from competitors. An identity system was also created to communicate to the internal audience appropriate applications for the visual identity.
